A Glimpse of Sunny Travels

We are reporting live from the beautiful city of Puerto Plata, we are excited to share more with you as we go. As we try to use our phones less and for only once or twice a day, we won't be sharing a lot all at once, you can see more instant photos on our Instagram.

A glimpse of our essentials:

1- Swimwear: We love this piece! For other sweet styles checkout Adore Me's swim collection.
2- A book to relax to and enjoy ~ Currently reading: The 4 Hour Workweek by Tim Ferris.
3- Sunglasses: Perfect for squinting less.
4- A comfortable top: One that matches with everything and anything.
More: yoga mats, sun block and a sketchbook...

Travel Tips:

1- Carry your sunscreen & don't forget Aloe.
2- Find out where the closest grocery store is for snacks!
3- Research afternoon and night local spots, it's more fun to not stick with full touristic activities.
4- Always pack a light sweater & jacket ~ there's an expected chilly breeze any place you go.
5- Stay on track with your health goals, whether it's packing your yoga mat, going to the hotel's gym, or going for a jog on the beach.
6- Mosquito repellent! Don't forget that...
7- Always socialize & don't be afraid to say hello, you will end up meeting the coolest people from around the world.
8- Don't set high expectations for anything! Just enjoy whatever comes, and live in the moment.
9- Keep your ears open to learn more about the culture and lives of the locals.
10- Keep your phone at bay or as much as you can.

Stay gold,
