Jude and I wanted to make quick art with Arabic calligraphy and we got a little excited about taking pictures of it. When we aren't being hermits at home in this freezing Canadian weather, this is what we do -- we go outside for an adventure that only lasts a little while until we run back inside for warmth and comfort.

"Life" spelled out in Arabic.
Life is something so valuable, yet we live everyday without thinking about it. We rarely notice that life is a gift to be appreciated. I was re-watching Forrest Gump the other day and it reminded me so much of how easy we tend to forget about the simple gift of living. Every day is an opportunity for magic! It also opened my eyes to the importance of gratitude towards situations that hurt us. These situations didn't happen because of taking the "wrong" path or because you are the "unlucky" one, it just happens that life is mapped out differently for you, and it's for the better.
All these moments are in our life to learn about letting go. Letting go of regret and attachments, and letting go of what could have been. These moments are needed in order to write a better story. So, don't forget to love every moment you have in this life and starting getting outside of the chains of your past or the expectations of the future.
OUR OUTDOOR ADVENTURE
Before leaving to open spaces, Jude decided a scarf is a must! Especially, when it has a beautiful print.
Also... Puffy jackets? Yes! Warmth? Yes!
We made wind our friend.
Welcoming the sun!
We found our favourite bridge. And surprisingly this time, our snowy shots weren't taken by our original camera man (the self-timer), but by Khaled who you may have met briefly in previous posts!
Ha, the cold hit us here.
Life.... Don't forget to play and create magic while you're in it!
