Prints & Land

Yara and I have always been inspired to find places that are different, places that allow us to bring out our inner wild spirit.  This weekend we wanted to make the most out of the sunlight, and as usual with no place in mind we said to each other, LET'S JUST DRIVE!

We called the crew (mr. camera & mr. tripod) and we took off.

With no selected path, we came across this construction site in what seems to be a mini industrial city. Funny thing it had a river near by with trees and birds hovering in the sky above.

We wrapped around the Arabian Boho prints and got ready to explore this place of man-made works vs. nature. We thought: perfect!

You can kind of see the natural presence in our surroundings, and mostly it's what excites us.
At the same time the on-going creation of man fascinates us...

This place is pretty close to where we live and I remember when we first moved into this area it was one big grass field.

Now it's us trying to figure out what is more dominant... man or nature?

Vibrant colours and polka dots...

Inspired by patterns and lines, we start seeing everything and appreciating the importance of nature...

Two different worlds at once, we lay down on sand bags and pretended to be art. Ha ha.
Trying to absorb this wacky feeling, above us are the clouds that remain untouched, below us is the Earth, to our left is what's left of the field and to our right was the little river that sits in the middle of it all... Pretty crazy right?

The breeze was just right and these breathtaking fabrics flew so gracefully.

Go outside & embrace the wind everyday.

  1. I never really thought about the question "what is more dominant...man or nature?" That's interesting!!! You would think nature because, hello, Mother Nature is everywhere and takes care of us with our environment, but at the same humans are sure as hell taking over the world and destroying the gifts Mother Nature has provided for us. It's kind of sad to think we are taking away animals' homes and ruining these beautiful landscapes, but I guess it might be inevitable? I don't know..love this post and how it made me think!!! (also you ladies look absolutely beautiful!!!)

I will have to say Mother Nature, since she takes great care of us all. Not to mention she doesn't need us, but we can't live without her.
