Under my umbrella

There's a lot of sun in Amman, but way less here...

The umbrellas, located in the middle of downtown Amman is a cool idea, except it has been done before, so that's why we were so intrigued by the structure and actual history of the sight. Thanks umbrellas for adding colour!

This staircase is so beautiful and it connects Al Balad to Jabbal Amman; two different areas of the city, stories and visions of the people.

Tryna attempt to be part of the stairs....

Then we see this, a blue heritage window with a black iron gate, forming a mosaic of different eras, thought processes and perspectives (remember the umbrellas are above). Our eyes stayed busy, as usual. Ha!

  1. I've never seen the umbrella installation before, but it's pretty neat! It's a great way to add a bit of colour for sure-- and doubles as some form of rain protection haha!
    Great post :)
